From Pam Stephan, your Guide to Breast Cancer
Nine years after the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, we are still trying to figure out how to get through the airport check-in line. Recently, a flight attendant even had trouble going through security. This holiday season, I am driving - not flying!

Breast Cancer Survivor Surrenders Prosthesis At Airport
I have been embarrassed at the airport check-in line, perhaps you have too! On one trip, I thought I would have to remove my wig, but I've never had to undress - yet. A seasoned stewardess and survivor had to show TSA her breast prosthesis - is this going too far? Let me know what you think!

Rosie O'Donnell 'All Clear' From Breast Cancer
Rosie O'Donnell had a breast cancer scare - lumps and biopsies in both breasts. It's okay - those lumps were benign. But her mother died of breast cancer and this is not the first time Ms. O'Donnell has had suspicious breast lumps. What advice would you give her?
Some of Rosie's Risk Factors:

Not All Chemo Drugs Cause Neuropathy
Before I had chemo treatments, I thought of "tingling" as a good thing - as in "tingling with excitement!" Well, then I started taking Taxol and got a different kind of tingling - this time from a side effect called neuropathy.

Glutamine Protects Nerves From Damage
I fired my first oncologist and did much better with my second oncologist - he's the one who would look me in the eye when we met, and never talked down to me. He also taught me about Glutamine powder - and life got better! If you're having neuropathy, this white powder might be good for you.
