| | This week we dig back into the National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior to find out more about American's orgasms. I'd call it an exercise in narcissism, except they're not all having them, and I'm Canadian, so that makes it okay. ~ Cory | | Orgasms Across the Nation The belief, sometimes referred to as the "orgasmic imperative", that all great sex does - and rightly should - result in an orgasm, is both an odd and tenacious one. Odd because when you ask people about the sexual moments they remember the most from their past, rarely do they talk about the orgasm. Unexpected orgasms, also called "atypical orgasms" by researchers, are orgasms that happen either at a time and place that we don't expect, or in the absence of sexual stimulation which usually precedes an orgasm. | | | | | | Sign up for more free newsletters on your favorite topics | | | | You are receiving this newsletter because you subscribed to the About Sexuality newsletter.
