Even if you have a family history of Alzheimer's disease you probably want to do whatever you can to improve your odds of either not developing Alzheimer's or getting it later than you would have. Walking and Better Cognition
Researchers presented an exciting finding this week, that walking five miles a week slowed the progression of Alzheimer's and mild cognitive impairment in study participants who had those conditions. Just as a heart-healthy diet reduces your risk of heart disease, a similar diet seems to also contribute to Alzheimer's prevention by reducing some risks.
