From Cory Silverberg, your Guide to Sexuality
I spent all last week working on a series about the sexual impact of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. There's something about the way we approach sexuality when talking about illness, disability, or chronic pain, that never rings true for me. There's no doubt that getting hurt or getting sick can be traumatic and have an enormous impact on your life. But everything in life changes our sexuality, and while I understand that we may not realize this until something "significant" happens to us, I feel a bit dishonest when I answer questions without challenging the assumption that now that *I* have to live with situation X, my sexuality is going to be all Y and Z, instead of L,U,S, or T. This week, a little bit of a challenge. Next week, more on breast cancer. ~ Cory

Living Your Sex *Life*
A sexual assignment for the week which promises to change the way you think about sex and your life, and your sex life.

Sex Tips for the Rest of Us #14: Desert Island Sex Picks
In some ways, sex is like air. When you have an abundant supply, and easy access, it's the easiest thing in the world to take for granted. But if your supply gets suddenly cut off, it will make you stand up and take notice (or possibly fall down and take notice) like nothing else. A sex tip about not taking sex for granted.

Sex Toy Injuries
Starting in 1995 emergency rooms in the U.S. had a system for tracking the number of sex toy injuries that passed through their doors. The system, which tracks injuries involving all consumer products, notes a code of 1610 if the patient arrives with a "massager or vibrator" related injury. If you've ever wondered whether that sex-toy-power-tool story was an urban legend or not, here's your answer.

Speak Up: How Do Define Sexual Compatibility?
Is sexual compatibility something you just have or don't? Is it about shared sexual interests and drives that grease the wheels, or is it the tension between desires that don't fit perfectly that creates the friction and heat? Have you been in relationships where you knew you weren't compatible and ones where it just clicked? Readers share their stories.
