Choosing The Right Sunscreen Posted By: Naomi Andrews
Sunrays contain UV A and UV B rays. Both of these are harmful and you should always be conscious to protect your skin against the negative effects from these UV rays. Applying sun screen lotion is one way of protecting your skin against the harm. Thus, sunscreens find an important place in our daily skin care routine. Not only when we need to step out in the sun, but they are preferably used on daily basis for maximum effect. Select your sunscreen for the occasion Like moisturizers, sunscreens can be used daily after bathing. Keeping this in mind many cosmetic manufacturers have launched a range of moisturizers with a sun protection factor. Such products make skin care easy. The only difference comes when you need to select an appropriate SPF value for your sunscreen. You can select to use different sunscreens for different purposes. Like when you plan to go out in the sun for some sport or hicking or a picnic, you should choose the lotion with a higher SPF value like 30 or more.

Steps To Reverse Pcos Symptoms Posted By: Carine Taleen
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) affects 5-10 percent of pre-menopausal women, making it the most common female endocrine disorder. PCOS wreaks havoc on hormones: excessive amounts of insulin stimulate the ovaries to produce large amounts of testosterone. The result can be irregular periods and infertility, along with symptoms such as male-pattern baldness, fatigue, excess body hair, and obesity. The long term health risks for women with PCOS include diabetes and cardiovascular disease among others. If glucose levels do not respond to normal levels of insulin, the pancreas produces more insulin. An over-production of insulin leads the body to respond by producing high levels of male hormones, or androgens. The elevated androgen levels can sometimes cause excessive facial hair growth, acne, and/or male-pattern hair thinning. There is unfortunately no single test for diagnosing PCOS. Women experiencing hair loss lose ground fast in today's world. At work and in her personal life a woman's appearance has much to do with her financial and social success. Men may also prefer not to go bald. But since balding is known to be caused by high levels of testosterone, a bald man may be credited with extra virility.
