| | Gary Taubes is one of those people that I think in retrospect will be recognized as making a big contribution to the health of people in the U.S. His 2002 article in the New York Times magazine, "What if It's All Been a Big Fat Lie?" helped started what was later characterized as a "low-carb craze" at the time.
