Dear Reader,

A study by German scientists has found that women are twice as likely to suffer from depression as men.

Rates of depression are now three times higher than in 1970. The pressures of modern life including raising children, high divorce rates and the instability in the job market are to blame for this steep rise.

The researchers concluded that depression and other mental disorders are 'Europe's foremost healthcare challenge of the 21st century'. Considering the increase in cancer rates and a higher instance of heart disease, this is a bold conclusion.

But, if 'man made' factors are causing increased rates of depression, then maybe nature has the answer...

Another recent study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that vitamin D may reduce depression in women. In fact, depressive symptoms were 21% lower for women with a daily vitamin D intake.

Vitamin D is, on the whole, produced through exposure to sunlight. But with the winter nights drawing in your exposure to sunlight will reduce over the coming months.

This doesn't mean that your fight against depression should be a seasonal activity. Nor does it mean that you need suffer for half of the year, with powerful drugs as your only option.

That's why I've commissioned a special report from The Health Sciences Institute that can help you fight it all year round. You can read more about Vitamin D and 36 other natural depression busting remedies here.

This special depression fighting report will help you to identify the danger signs of depression and to start fighting them now before depression takes over your life, too.

Kind regards,
