There's no need to become overwhelmed with all the decisions about treatment. Break it down into three important things:

Emotions and Your Breast Cancer Diagnosis
Before I was officially diagnosed, I'd had a scary mammogram. I never knew that I had so many tears in me, but they kept leaking out! Then I felt angry, sad, scared, and betrayed. Finally, I accepted the diagnosis, signed up for the fight, and moved forward. Sometimes it helps to know that feelings like are normal - but it's also good to know when to get help.

Complementary Therapy Reduces Stress and Side Effects
In my support group, one person had acupuncture for nausea, another had a massage to lower stress, the leader did guided imagery, and I took up Tai Chi. Many people find relief while doing yoga or meditation. Here are several ways to help yourself feel better during and after treatment for breast cancer.
