From Christine Luff, your Guide to Running & Jogging
If you're feeling unmotivated to run right about now, don't feel bad -- you're in good company. Many runners lose their running mojo around this time of year because the hot weather makes it tough to do quality runs, vacation travels interfere with training, and it's hard to get motivated for a fall race that seems far away. This week I have tips to avoid feeling discouraged or unmotivated.

How to Get Over a Bad Run
While it's tough to get through difficult runs, it's sometimes even harder to deal with the disappointment and frustration you feel after the run is over. Follow these tips to get over a bad run.

How to Boost Your Motivation
Don't let a bad run make you feel unmotivated to get back out there again. Try some of these ideas.

How to Avoid Burnout from Running
To help avoid reaching that point of burnout from running, try some of these strategies.

Cross Training for Runners
Participating in activities other than running, such as walking, biking, or yoga, one to two days a week gives your running muscles a break and can also help revive your mental outlook. Swimming and water running are great summertime cross training activities.
