With the sweltering heat that hit much of the country last week, many of us faced a difficult choice: Should I workout? Or should I sit, unmoving save for the lifting of a cold beverage to the lips? When it gets that hot, that fast, the body doesn't respond very well and exercise can be a painful, sweaty mess. That's what I'm talking about this week, even though, as I type this, the temperature has dropped more than 40 degrees and I'm wearing a sweatshirt. Um...yeah.
