| | This week many of us across the country and around the world are taking some intentional time to remember the lives and mark the violent deaths of strangers, friends, and family who have been murdered. It's the 13th International Transgender Day of Remembrance. Remembering is a complicated act. Who do we remember? And what does it mean that we remember only some things about them? There aren't easy answers to these questions, and these aren't comfortable or comforting conversations to have.
