Thanks in part to my English upbringing, I love rhubarb, which was served regularly in the form of rhubarb crumble (and custard). Technically a vegetable--think red celery--we use rhubarb as a fruit, although it can be used in savory dishes. If you find rhubarb to be too tart, pair it with strawberries, and I think you'll agree they were meant to be together.
