From Cory Silverberg, your Guide to Sexuality
The pressure and anticipation of the holidays is a problem in much the same way pressure and anticipation around sex can be. As the norms and "shoulds" pile up (you should have a loving family and a partner, you should celebrate the holidays the way others do, you should be able to get through the month of December with a smile) many of us collapse under the weight. We either don't have people to help or don't know how to ask for it. At the risk of sounding trite, sex can help. Being sexual, in a completely non-performative way, is something we can all do, and do for ourselves. It will look different on different people, but difference is hot. Whether your anticipating a tricky couple of weeks at the end of the year or not, take a minute today to breathe deep, show some love to yourself and maybe a few people around you, and remember that January is just around the corner. ~ Cory

Sex Tips for Surviving the Holidays
Find time for sex in between last minute shopping and dealing with family squabbles and travel plans. Learn how sex helps you keep your cool over the holidays. And remember to clean the porn off your desktop before relatives spend the night.

Night of Silent Ohs
If you manage to find time and mental space to be sexual over the holidays at all, you've still got to deal with the potential problem of either having family stay with you, or staying with your family. This means, among other things, having sex very very quietly. If you're more Elmer Fudd than Marcel Marceau, here are some tips for having quiet sex.

Vibrators on an Airplane and Other Sex Toy TravelTips

If you're traveling by plane to be with family over the holidays you have at least two kinds of baggage to contend with. There's the emotional baggage, which is old and worn and won't hurt your shoulders but is may wrench your heart. And then there's your physical baggage, in all its over-stuffed-telescopic-handled glory. This doesn't feel like a good place for me to properly address the emotional baggage, but I do have four simple tips to hopefully prevent one of the lesser joys of airline travel, the sex toy security scare.
