Every year around this time, without fail, my colleague make the same mistake millions of others make...
She tells herself that straight after Christmas, she'll start her diet...
Why's this a mistake? Because it's doomed to fail BEFORE she even starts.
Think about it. What you're really saying to yourself is: "Christmas is coming. I'm bound to over-indulge and put on weight. But, it's OK because I'll lose it all when I start my diet in the New Year."
This is just plain wrong-thinking, because:
* Mistake #1: come March next year at best you'll only be back to the weight you are today. * Mistake #2: crash dieting after Christmas only means that you put it back on later in the year – and maybe even more! * Mistake #3: you heap unnecessary pressure on yourself and this makes you feel anxious and moody, and adds to your post-Christmas blues...
So here's the plan. She's starting now. This week...
She's set herself a goal of how much weight to lose BEFORE Christmas.
Ofcouse, she plans to enjoy herself this yuletide, but come the New Year, she'll have a head start on millions of others, because she'll already be pounds slimmer than she is now.
And that will give me a massive psychological boost, too!
So here's my challenge to you: Why not join her and start losing weight today?
Set your own goals, keep me posted about your progress and let me know your weight-loss secrets.
And just so that she doesn't have an unfair advantage, I'm going to let you in on her secret weapon right now...
and the best part about it is that you can carry on eating the food you love and STILL lose the fat you hate... even at Christmas!
