From Paige Waehner, your Guide to Exercise
If you've ever gone on a diet, you've probably had some experience with white-knuckling. You grit your teeth when someone offers you a luscious, glistening, chocolate-filled donut, saying sweetly, "Oh, no thanks. I'm on a diet," while mentally heaving that donut at the enemy...and then wishing you could pick it up and eat it. You silently sob at a restaurant as everyone orders burgers and fries while you (pretend to) happily order the grilled chicken salad supplemented with tree bark and wheat grass.

If you're white-knuckling diet and exercise, you may feel that you're missing out on all the good stuff, but it doesn't have to be that way...at least, that's what I'm trying to convince of this week. Wish me luck.
