What Is IBS?
Unlike more severe forms of digestive diseases (notably Crohn's or ulcerative colitis), IBS isn't extreme -- meaning, it rarely if ever leads to death or severe loss in quality of life. Still, that doesn't mean it's not a challenging diagnosis.
