If you have an inner critic like mine, you have a voice in your head constantly telling you all the things you do wrong.

Either that, or we're all crazy. Welcome to the club.

Inner Critic is so busy pointing out your failures, it completely misses all the healthy things you do each day, which is why it's essential that you acknowledge them. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to think of at least one thing (a workout, a food choice, a weight loss challenge faced down) you've done today that you're proud of. Then find a pilot, a small plane and a banner announcing your triumph and have it fly across the city all day long. Shout it to the rooftops, tell all your friends and family, announce it on the evening news.

Or just to think about it, mentally pat yourself on the back and smile.
