With the economic crisis, it's no wonder that state and federal governments are looking for new sources of revenue. Since sugar-sweetened beverages are arguably the one "food" which has been shown to be bad for our health, it has become a relatively easy target. Taking it a bit further, at least one mayor has proposed that food stamps not be used to purchase sugar-sweetened beverages. What do you think? Have a wonderful, sugar-free week! Laura
