What Are Antioxidants Good For?
Antioxidants are substances that may protect cells in your body from free radical damage that can occur from exposure to certain chemicals, smoking, pollution, radiation, and as a byproduct of normal metabolism.

Good Fish, Bad Fish
Fish is an excellent source of lean protein and omega-3 fatty acids called eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). But almost all fish is contaminated with trace amounts of mercury. While most healthy adults have no problem eliminating the mercury from their bodies, children and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid some types of fish and shellfish to reduce their risk of mercury exposure.

Should I Reduce My Saturated Fat Intake?
Cutting back on your saturated fat intake may reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease, but it probably also depends on how much saturated fat you're eating now and what you'll eat in place of those extra saturated fats.
